Generate Screenshots

Login

In order to generate pictures from a tour, you have to be logged in. The following registration options are available:

      • Google (all Google accounts, e.g .: YouTube, Google+)
      • Facebook
      • Microsoft(all Microsoft accounts, e.g .: office365, Skype, x-box)

choose Tour

To select the tour you want, the tour's basepath must be entered in the “basepath” field.
The tour can also be specified using query parameters
-> https://screenshot.360ty.world/?basepath={basepath}&node={nodeID}
Example: https://screenshot.360ty.cloud/?basepath=https://bregenzsommer.360ty.cloud/&node=node15
if the node parameter is specified, the tour is started at the specified nodeID

set Position

To get to the desired position for the picture in the tour, you can move around in the normal way, or click on the round node pictures under the “basepath” field to switch to the displayed node. All hotspots that can be found on the current node are displayed here.

The zoom slider can be used to set the zoom more precisely on devices that do not have a touchscreen than is possible with the mouse wheel.

Screenshot Settings

The screenshot settings can be called up on the red gear next to the “Take Screenshot” button

Resolution

The resolution is the resolution of the image depending on the height, given in pixels. The higher the resolution of the image, the longer it takes to generate it.
The following resolutions can be selected:

          • HD -> 720 pixel height. Takes about 5-10 seconds to generate
          • FullHD -> 1080 pixel height. Takes about 20-30 seconds to generate
          • 4K -> 2160 pixel height. Takes about 2-3 minutes to generate

Tip: Instagram has a maximum resolution of 1080p. Everything above 1080p will be scaled down.

Aspect Ratio

The aspect ratio is the aspect ratio that the generated image should have. This is calculated by the resolution. (e.g .: 1: 1 at 720p-> 720p x 720p). When selecting an aspect ratio, the part of the image that is generated is highlighted.

Custom

Under the tab “Custom” under “common ratios” one of the commonly used aspect ratios can be selected (16: 9.21: 9.9: 16).
A user-defined aspect ratio can also be used under “custom ratio”. To do this, the x and y ratio must be specified and then the “use custom ratio” field must be selected.
